LPN
I've taken a lot of credits from other schools. Will they transfer to Ambria?
Yes, Ambria accepts transfer credits completed through accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities, provided the courses meet our transfer credit requirements and equivalency standards.
I work, and I wanted to know if you offer day and evening classes?
Our nursing program is designed for working adults like you. Below are typical class hours. But some classes are held shorter hours. And some classes are held 2x per week. Please note, these hours are subject to change based on enrollment.
- All lectures are available in the day, typically between 8am -3pm.
- Evening lectures starting at 4pm are available based on a minimum enrollment of 10 students.
- Most clinical rotations are held during the day. Some clinical rotations are offered in the evening depending on the clinical facility.
- Class schedules are subject to change each term.
Again, like many schools, classes are opened based on enrollment. To open a day or evening classes, we need between 8-10 students. If this minimum number of students are not met, a class will not be opened. Ambria has the right to change class schedule.
What are the admission requirements for the LPN program?
The program requirements are pretty straightforward.
- Achieve a minimum of 50% on the Entrance Exam

The score on the reading placement should be 246 or higher

The score for the math placement should be 255 or higher
- Complete prerequisite courses
- Undergo a background check
How long is the program?
That’s all up to you. The duration of our program is completely customized to suit your personal needs. If you’re up to the challenge, we offer an FULL-TIME TRACK that takes to complete 16 months. Looking for a more standard class load? Take our PART-TIME TRACK that takes 20 months to complete.
Our program allows you to set your own pace, giving you a high degree of success.
How much is the LPN program?
Our overall tuition and fees are reasonable and affordable. Compare to other private nursing programs that offer a Practical Nursing, our tuition is one of the lowest
- Core nursing courses: $750 per credit hour
- Gen-ed courses: $750 per credit hour
- Student Technology Fee: $265 every term
This is based on 36 credit hours.

How often do you accept students?
You may apply 3x per year. We offer a SPRING, SUMMER, and FALL semesters.

How much is the RN program?
It all depends on which credits successfully transfer.
- Core nursing course: $750/credit hour

How long is the RN program?
It all depends on the track you have chosen. Full-time, 1 year and 8 months; Part-time, 2 years.
When can I apply?
You can apply in Spring, Summer, or Fall.
Spring classes begin on January 11.
Summer classes start on May 9.
Fall classes begin on September 12.

How much is the LPN to RN Completion program?
How much is the LPN to RN Completion program? The 2025 estimated tuition and fees is $31,800. This figure does not include the general education courses. Please email the Financial Aid department at [email protected]
What time are classes held?
- Day classes meet between the hours of 8am and 3pm.
- Evening cohort is strictly part time, exclusive to Fall semester starts.
- Classes are between the hours of 4 pm-9:30pm.
- Clinicals for PM students typically run 3pm-11pm during the weekday or, alternatively, on Saturdays 7am-3pm.
- ALL classes are on campus in person.
- Approximately 3-4 days a week.
How long is the LPN To RN Completion program?
The LPN to RN Completion program is 16 months long if you are attending full-time.
